To make a reservation
This is a 5-star Visit Wales graded apartment, due to its very spacious layout and beautiful styling. The architect has maxed out the penthouse location with skylights flooding the kitchen & living room with natural light. A high, beamed ceiling adds to the light and lofty, luxury feel. The ‘boat’ chair in the window is our favourite place, with amazing views across to the sea-green bay beyond the harbour and up to the magnificent Castle Hill. The log burner is also a welcome feature for the chillier summer evenings or for cosying up on dark winter nights. The king bedroom is stylish with local art on the walls, and rare glimpses across the roof tops to the Paragon.
This is a perfect bolthole for a couple or friends wanting to explore the delights that Tenby has to offer.
Being situated above our gastro pub, there are a few stairs to negotiate, as you would expect of a 3rd floor apartment. Why not treat the pub as ‘a restaurant with rooms’? Take full advantage of our fresh seafood and other local produce, including local HARBWR ales.

Other points to note
Tŷ Olwen is one of 3 beautiful apartments above The Hope & Anchor Inn, accessed via the quirky spiral staircase from the courtyard. Taken together with Ty Mabli and Ty Madoc, and subject to availability, they can sleep up to 8 people plus infants. These apartments are so perfectly located, family members will be able to just come & go as they please – pop to the shops, or nip back up from the beach for a siesta – you will hardly need the car.
Being so near the Harbour there is no parking at the property. However there is so much to do within Tenby and its extensive beaches, many people park up their car in the nearby reasonably priced multi-storey and forget about it until it is time to depart.
Non smoking. 4pm takeover. No pets.
Pedestrianisation – between early July and mid September Tenby town centre becomes ‘pedestrianised’ which means the town is largely closed to vehicles between 11am and 5.30pm every day. This makes for a lovely ‘cafe culture’ where it is safe to wander in the streets and dine al fresco, but it does mean that your arrival may be affected. Pembrokeshire County Council have staff at the entrance to the restricted areas, and if you explain to them that you need to unload your luggage and give the property address & proof of booking, they should let you through for this purpose alone and then you would need to park your car in one of the public car-parks. Thereafter there will be a pedestrianisation permit at the property for the other days of your stay; although bringing the car into the restricted areas is strongly discouraged during 11am & 5.30pm. Please be assured the benefits of pedestrianisation do outweigh this slight inconvenience on your first day.
